An excerpt from The Reprise of Dodoism:
A: Why does that matter? Why does the fact that you got tripped and jeered at and beaten, just smacked in my opinion, lead you to think you had a bad day? If I did the same to you tomorrow, and the day after, and the rest of the week, would you moan about it as you just did? No, you would thank the heavens when it didn't drop on Chicken Little's head. You would begin to think: wait, the tripping and jeering and beating does not make me a sad person. I choose to feel upset about what happens around me, and hence label my day 'terrible', 'the worst', or what have you. If you'd just choose otherwise.
Q: It's starting to rain.
A (sadly) : I know.
